Dana Gas, Aldar drag down ADX early Tuesday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Tuesday’s trading session in red territory, pressured by profit-taking deals on blue-chip stocks, topped by Dana Gas and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB).

The general index edged down 4.14 points, or 0.08%, to 49,050.09 points.

By 11:10 am Abu Dhabi time, Dana Gas’ stock dropped 1.74%, while ADIB’s stock fell 1.45%.
  
The stocks of Aldar Properties and Adnoc Distribution levelled down 1.16% and 0.84%, respectively. 

Emirates Motor Company’s (EMC) stock topped 6 gainers after adding 4.69%, while RAK Bank, Etisalat, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) gained 1.2%, 0.59%, and 0.55%, respectively. 
 
The ADX’s trading volume declined to 9.023 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 20.94 million through 280 deals.
