Dana Gas' stock goes up Monday on court ruling

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dana Gas’ stock on Monday topped the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in terms of volume after the company confirmed that it would appeal against the $700 million-sukuk ruling. 

By 12:19 pm UAE time, the stock added 1.45% to AED 0.7 after 5.3 million shares were traded, with a turnover of AED 3.7 million through 46 transactions.

Earlier on Monday, Dana Gas’ head of investor relations Mohammed Mubaideen stated that the company was confident about its legal position in the sukuk case, noting that Dana would appeal the ruling in a few days.

In the meantime, the general index inched up 0.05% or 2.21 points to reach 4,281.52 points.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 16.9 million shares, generating AED 35.1 million through 386 transactions.
