Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dana Gas received $100 million in dues from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), under the London Court of International Arbitration's ruling, Al Khaleej reported.
The company sells condensate and liquefied petroleum gas in the local market and gets instant payments for that, explaining the improvement in its payment history, according to CEO Patrick Allman-Ward.
On 13 February, the court ordered the KRG to pay $121 million to the claimants for condensate and liquefied petroleum gas lifted by or on behalf of the KRG between 30 June 2015 and 31 March 2016.
The company has outstanding arrears in the Kurdish region of $713 million.
