Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Thursday’s session in green, on the back of Dana Gas’s stock, which witnessed active trading during the day, after affirming the stability of operations in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The general index rose marginally by 0.07% or 3.26 points to 4,505.31 points.
The energy sector topped the gainers, with 2.18% on the back of Dana Gas, which rose 2.7%, through 180 transactions, generating AED 27 million.
The telecommunications sector also grew 0.28%, as Etisalat hiked with the same percentage.
On the other hand, the banks sector declined marginally by 0.05%, dragged down by RAK Bank, and Bank of Sharjah with 3.03% and 1.57%, respectively.
The real estate sector also fell 0.08%, pressured by Aldar with a 0.40% drop.
Turnover rose to AED 168.11 million from AED 108.6 million, after trading 104.38 million shares, versus 70.9 million shares on Wednesday, through 1,165 transactions.
Dana Gas was the most active in terms of trading volume, with 35.6 million shares traded, while Abu Dhabi Commercial achieved the highest turnover at AED 28.7 million, through 88 transactions.
