Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dana Gas on Monday reported a 700% increase in net profits in the third quarter of 2017 to AED 375 million ($102.07 million), compared to AED 47 million ($12.8 million) in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenues grew 6% to AED 396 million in the three-month period ended 30 September, versus AED 374 million in the comparative period of 2016, according to a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
On the other hand, the operational costs decreased by 2.08% to AED 47 million in Q3-17 from AED 48 million in Q3-16, Dana Gas’ data showed.
The company’s net profits surged 382% to AED 458 million in the first nine months of 2017, against AED 95 million in the year-ago period.
Earnings per share rose to AED 0.07 in the nine-month period ended 30 September, from AED 0.014 in the corresponding period of 2016.
Revenues soared 18% to AED 1.21 billion in the first three quarters of 2017, compared to AED 1.02 billion in the first nine months of 2016.
