Dana Gas starts selling Zora field’s production

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Dana Gas began selling its production from the Zora Gas field on 28 February, according to a recent statement.

The field is expected to achieve a flow rate of 40 million cubic feet a day (6,650 barrels of oil equivalent), added the Wednesday statement.

The field's production will be sold for use in power generation, thus delivering a clean source of energy to Sharjah, as well as reducing costs of electricity production.

The Abu Dhabi-based company’s stock rose 4% to AED 0.53 by 11:15am UAE time.
