Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Dana Gas’ stock declined to the lowest level in August, shrugging off the positive second-quarter profits posted by the company.
The stock fell 1.79% to AED 0.55 by 12:30pm UAE time, with a turnover of AED 8.74 million from the exchange of 15.86 million shares.
The company’s profits rose 4% to AED 26 million ($7.08 million) in Q2-16, compared to AED 25 million ($6.81 million) in Q2-15.
The energy sector also fell 2.18% during the same time, while Abu Dhabi’s main index retreated 0.64%.
