Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Dana Gas stock jumped 5.13% to reach AED 0.41 by 10:30am UAE time, fueled by the company’s announcement it made a significant gas discovery in Egypt.
The company announced earlier Tuday a significant gas discovery at Balsam-3, and proved up additional 2P reserves with the Balsam-2 development well, located in the Balsam Developmental Lease in the Nile Delta region.
Turnover on the stock reached AED 3.15 million as 3.15 million shares were exchanged through 69 transactions.
The energy sector grew 4%, backed by the rise of Dana Gas stock.
