Kuwait-Mubasher: Danah Al Safat Foodstuff posted a 905% rise year-on-year in its profits during the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.
Net profits stood at KWD 253,840 ($842,200) in Q2-16, compared to KWD 25,263 ($83,800) in Q2-15.
In H1-16, profits rose 40.5% to KWD 2.3 million from KWD 54,450 recorded in H1-15.
The profit increase is mainly attributed to selling one of the company’s subsidiaries.
