Kuwait-Mubasher: Danah Al Safat Foodstuff reported a jump of 6831% in profits of the first quarter as compared to the same period in 2015, the company said in a bourse filing issued Sunday.
The earnings increased to KWD 2.01 million ($6.66 million) in Q1-16, from about KWD 29,200 ($96,820) in Q1-15.
The KSE-listed firm clarified that the growth in earnings resulted from a rise in sales of subsidiaries as well as the profit achieved from the sale of Al Theqa Company.
Danah stock started Sunday’s session with a 3.41% rise to 91 fils, after 1.04 million shares were exchanged with a value of about KWD 94,360.
