Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) is expected to open a window of opportunity in December for investors to make fast gains and build investment portfolios based on the financial results of the bourse’ listed companies for the first nine months of 2015, according to Dr. Ahmed bin Saeed Kashoob, Chairman of Omani Securities Association.
Kashoob, also CEO of Global TRUST Investments, told Mubasher that the positive response by the Omani market by the end of the week’s trading came on back of the progress in trading volumes and values during the period.
The bourse’s main index, MSM 30, closed Tuesday with a rise of 0.18% or 9.88 points, reaching the level of 5,557.73 points, after trading on 10.88 shares worth OMR 4.2 million through 1,112 trades.
