Cairo – Mubasher: Delta Sugar’s net losses in the first quarter of 2016 surged by 912% year-over-year to EGP11.5 million from EGP1.14 million, the financial results indicated.
In a bourse filing, the company said gross sale jumped 128% to record EGP495 million in Q1-16, compared to EGP217 million for the year-ago quarter.
In 2015, Delta Sugar registered EGP27.95 million profits, compared to EGP197.28 million a year earlier.
