Cairo – Mubasher: Total deposits with the Egyptian banks rose 22% on an annual basis by the end of May 2016, according the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Total deposits reached EGP 2.123 trillion by the end of June compared to EGP 1.74 trillion in the year-ago period.
Government deposits reached EGP 362 billion, while non-government deposits reached EGP 1.76 trillion by the end of June 2016.
