Mubasher: Dhofar University said it repurchase 683,800 stocks in 31 December 2015, for OMR 1.1 million.
The firm pointed out that it repurchased around 4.8% of its capital, up till now.
Last November, the company said it will repurchase 5.4% or 757,600 shares of its capital on 1-31 December 2015.
The shares will be bought back at OMR 1.465 each plus a premium of 10% from the stock’s par value, the company added in a bourse statement.
The university posted net earnings of OMR 2.02 million ($5.23 million) in the fiscal year ended 31 August 2015, compared with OMR 2.86 million ($7.41 million) a year earlier.
