Dubai – Mubasher: A number of 25 new hotels were opened in Dubai during the last nine months, the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing’s (DTCM) data showed.
Total number of Dubai-based hotels increased to 706 by the end of September, compared to 681 on 31 December 2017.

Since the beginning of 2018, about 4,950 new hotel rooms have been added to the hospitality market in Dubai, raising the overall number of hotel rooms in the emirate and apartments to 112,381, DTCM revealed.

Around 33% of hotel rooms in Dubai are 5-star, while four-star rooms account for 25%.
Hotel apartments in Dubai reached 24,291 and make up 21% of the offered keys in the emirate’s hospitality market.
