Doha – Mubasher: Doha Bank signed yesterday an agreement to finance a two year syndicated unsecured loan worth $575 million for general purposes.
The deal gives the bank the chance to extend the loan for one more year by the end of the second year.
“Despite difficult challenges witnessed in Middle East markets, demand overcame supply in the syndicated loan deal,” Doha Bank CEO, R. Seetharaman, said.
The bank earlier posted a net profit of QAR 1.142 billion in the first nine months of 2015, versus QAR 1.134 billion in the same period last year.
