Doha – Mubasher: Doha Bank announced Wednesday that its ordinary general meeting (OGM) will be held on 10 May to discuss a proposal by the board of directors to issue certificate of deposits and commercial papers.
According to a bourse statement, the certificate of deposits programme’s size amounts to $3 million, with a total minimum amount per certificate of $1 million and maximum $1 billion.
Meanwhile, the commercial papers programme’s size would be up to $2 billion, with a minimum amount per issuance of $50 million and maximum amount of $1 billion.
The Qatar-listed bank’s stock closed today with a rise of 0.68% as 118,600 shares were exchanged at QAR 4.36 ($1.20).
