Mubasher: Doha Insurance Company on Thursday announced that it is planning to open new branches, as well as beginning reinsurance activity outside Qatar as part of its expansion plan in the future.
The Qatari company's board is studying now the subscriptions to be sent to the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and regulators for approval, according to a bourse filing.
On Wednesday, Doha Insurance Company was rebranded to Doha Insurance Group.
The company was established in October 1999 as Qatari shareholding company in the business of insurance and re-insurance.
