Doha – Mubasher: Doha Insurance Company posted on Thursday a net profit of QAR 22 million ($6.04 million) in the first quarter of fiscal 2016, 12% down from QAR 25 million ($6.86 million) in Q1-15, according to a bourse filing.
The company earlier reported a net profit of QAR 111 million ($30.48 million) in 2015, with a rise of 44.1% compared to QAR 77 million ($21.15 million) in 2014.
The Qatar-listed company’s stock opened 0.05% lower to QAR 19.99 ($5.49) in today’s mid trading.
