Dubai-Mubasher: U.S. dollar declined against a basket of currencies on Wednesday despite rise in U.S. mortgage applications.
At 1:30GMT, the euro rose against the dollar by 0.39% to 1.0936 per dollar, its highest in nearly one week.
The sterling also increased against the dollar by 0.40% to 1.5071 per dollar.
