Dollar tumbles to 4-1/2 month low against yen

Mubasher: The U.S. dollar fell Thursday to its lowest levels in four and a half months against the Japanese yen, as investors headed for buying low-risk assets including the Japanese currency after China’s central bank led the yuan to more declines.

The greenback dropped by more than 0.5% to 117.66 per yen, which is the lowest level since late August, 2015.
