Domty prices to go up in January

Cairo - Mubasher: Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty) said that it is planning to raise the prices of its products by January 2017 to adapt with the flotation of the Egyptian Pound, according to a bourse filing.

The company added in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday that it also increased its prices in December, but it didn’t specify a rate or a percentage for the price hikes.

Domty said that the average price of its white cheese cartoons, which represent 60% of the company revenues, increased by 20% in October and November compared to prices in Q3-16.
