Cairo – Mubasher: Arabian Food Industries Co (Domty) on Sunday posted that it has turned to profitability in the fourth quarter of 2017 due to a growth in sales.
Net profit reached EGP 30.6 million in the three-month period ended December 2017, versus losses of EGP 29 million in Q4-16, Domty highlighted in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Sales jumped to EGP 615 million in the October-November 2017 period from EGP 463 million in Q4-16.
The company achieved around EGP 58.6 million in 2017, up from EGP 25.6 million in 2016, according to Mubasher statistics.
Domty’s profit stood at EGP 28.5 million in the January-September 2017 period, against EGP 54.9 million in the corresponding period of 2016.
