Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Styrene Company has posted $97 million (KWD 29.16 million) in net earnings in the fiscal year 2015, compared to $126 million (KWD 37.87 million) a year earlier.
Kuwait Styrene is a joint venture between Dow Chemical and Kuwait Aromatics which is a subsidiary of Qurain Petrochemical Industries.
The CEO said that the company managed to decrease the fixed expenses by more than 20%.
He added that 2016 will present a number of challenges caused by low oil prices.
