Dubai-Mubasher: Drake and Scull Rail (DSR), a subsidiary of Drake and Scull International (DSI), was awarded a contract worth QAR 340 million ($93.3 million) from the Fujita Corporation, according to a bourse filing.
The rail contractor will perform infrastructure and design services as part of the first phase of the Doha Metro Depots, with a scheduled delivery slated for 2019.
Accoding to the contract, the services required from DSR include the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to be provided in both the Depot and Stabling yard pertinent to the Red and Green lines.
Fujita is undertaking the construction of the Red and Green Lines of Doha Metro’s Depots.
