Dubai, Singapore trade exchange grows 32% in 9M

Dubai – Mubasher: The value of Dubai's foreign non-oil trade with Singapore grew by 32 % to reach AED 12.16 billion in the first nine months of 2015, compared to AED 9.21 billion in the same period of 2014, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, head of Dubai Customs, said yesterday during a meeting with Chung Ming Fung, Consul General of Singapore in Dubai.

Musabih stated that trade between Dubai and Singapore in the first nine months of 2015 were distributed into imports of AED 5.42 billion, exports of AED 4.18 billion and re-exports of AED 2.57 billion.

Dubai Customs seeks to strengthen cooperation with Consulate General of Singapore to support growth in mutual trade, especially after the application of Free Trade Agreement by Dubai Customs in early 2015, between GCC and Singapore according to the official.
