Upon the agreement, DANS will set up its first training facility within Al Maktoum International Airport, known as Dubai World Central (DWC), according to a press release.

Moreover, DANS will work jointly with DACC to establish a global training hub in Dubai that has the capacity to train experienced individuals in the air traffic management sector and to further improve their operational aptitude and skills.
Once completed, the new DANS’ training facility will provide people with a diverse portfolio of air traffic management-related training courses that will cover all technical, operational, and theoretical subjects relevant to the field, DANS highlighted.
Mohammed A. Ahli, director general, DCAA and CEO, dans, said: “The academy shall open its doors to professionals working in and outside of the UAE to help enhance their skills.
Moreover, operating such a unique facility that is specialised as such from within the UAE, also supports our efforts in preparing and equipping Emirati talent with the necessary skills required to succeed in an ever-growing ATM sector, which continuously requires keeping up with the fast pace of innovation and development,” he added.
