UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has introduced the sixth cycle of the Dubai Smartpreneur Competition, which focuses on startups presenting innovative solutions in the categories of sustainability, opportunity, and trade.
The competition is open to all entrepreneurs in the UAE and abroad to enable Dubai to become a global platform for innovative startups and one of the world’s smartest cities, according to a press release on Thursday.
Following the submission deadline on 30 September 2021, entries will be evaluated and shortlisted to be qualified for the training phase of the competition.
The top three winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Expo 2020 Dubai.
In its last five cycles, the competition has received more than 2,000 smart business ideas, with a surge in the number of international submissions.
