Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Creek Tower has completed concrete placement for the pile cap two months ahead of schedule, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.
Developed by Emaar Proprieties, the project’s pile cap is around 20 metres thick multi-layered, tiered reinforced concrete top covers and transfers the load to the foundation barrettes.
“With this milestone, 50,000 cubic meters of concrete has been poured, weighing about 120,000 tonnes or the weight of the CN Tower in Canada. About 16,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement has also been placed, just over twice the weight of the Eiffel Tower.” The statement revealed.
Earlier in February, China State Construction Engineering Company stated that it was set to win a construction contract for Dubai Creek Tower.
