UAE - Mubasher: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced it has launched its HR Robotic system during GITEX Technology Week 2019.
The robotic system was presented by Humaid Al Qutami, director-general of the DHA in the presence of Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, director-general of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, and other DHA officials, according to a press release.
This major step marks the DHA as the first government entity to carry out a robotic system in an HR department, the authority revealed.
The system is highly accurate and cost-effective as well as acts as a smart employee who works 24/7, the DHA added.
Humaid Al Qutami said that the DHA utilises smart technologies across its facilities in line with the goals of Dubai’s Paperless Strategy to abolish the use of paper in government bodies by 2021.
He also highlighted the importance of the HR robotic system in facilitating procedures and making them more efficient, which will contribute to the DHA’s key role in providing a comfortable working environment that promotes creativity and innovation for its employees.
Moreover, Amna Al Suwaidi, director of HR at the DHA, noted that the HR Robotic automates around 15 processes as of phase one.
“Some of the automated processes include: notifying employees with expired documents and documents about to expire so employees can update them, notifying employees & their managers of any attendance issues, generating a list of the employees who have back dated financial transactions, generating periodic reports and sending them to concerned staff automatically, to name a few,” she said.
It is worth noting that the 39th edition of GITEX Technology Week took place at the Dubai World Trade Center from 6 to 10 October 2019.
