Dubai - Mubasher: Dubai Investments is planning to invest in the education sectors in five African countries in partnership with several investors with a preliminary investments of $100 million, said the company’s CEO and managing director Khalid Bin Kalban.
The company is set to build schools in Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Gana, and Ivory Coast, Bin Kalban added.
The top official noted that the required contracts were scheduled to be signed by the end of December but the date has been pushed back in order to finish some legal procedures, ensure the availability of lands, and receive partners’ payments of their shares.
Dubai Investments will complete all the required procedures to commence the new projects, Bin Kalban concluded.
