Dubai bourse down 0.06% at open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) suffered losses in Tuesday’s early trades, weighed down by the decline of real estate and banks stocks.

The main index fell 0.06% or 2.12 points to reach 3,330.29 points by 11:00am UAE time.

The consumer staples sector led losers after declining 0.62% as DXB Entertainments slid 0.6%.

The real estate sector also decreased slid 0.25% after Emaar Properties levelled down 0.9%. The banks sector retreated 0.13% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled down 0.2%.

On the flipside, the investment sector rose 1.07% as Dubai Investments went up 1.9%.

Turnover reached AED 159.65 million after trading 97.97 million shares through 1,157 transactions.
