Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, pressured down by the decline of blue-chip stocks in the investment and real estate sectors.
The DFMGI lost 0.37% or 12.15 points to reach 3,312.55 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The investment sector topped losers after falling 0.83% due to a decline in Dubai Investments and DFM Company.
The real estate sector retreated 0.45% as Union Properties and Arabtec Holding opened lower.
The banks sector slid 0.3%, weighed down by the losses of Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB).
The market saw trading of 15.82 million shares through 282 transactions, with a turnover of AED 23.44 million.
