Dubai bourse opens 0.60% higher

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s early trades, backed by the rise of five sectors led by the consumer staples and investment.

The DFMGI rose 0.60% or 19.85 points to reach 3,339.33 points by 10:15am UAE time.

The consumer staples sector topped gainers with a 1.88% increase as DXB Entertainments went up 1.9%. The investment sector also climbed 1.2% after SHUAA Capital advanced 2.36%.

The real estate sector went up 0.68% due to a rise in Emaar Properties by 1.23%. Similarly, the banks sector grew 0.25% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled up 0.37%.

The market saw trading of 90 million shares through 652 transactions, with a turnover of AED 121.52 million.
