Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance on Wednesday, in line with the rise of the investment and real estate sectors.
The general index advanced 0.63% or 21.43 points to 3,458.94 points by 10:25am UAE time.
The investment sector topped gainers with a 1.12% rise as Dubai Investments went up 1.4%.
The real estate sector grew 0.8% due to an increase in Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding by 1.2% and 0.7% respectively.
The banks sector advanced 0.7% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) recovered 0.74%.
The market saw trading of 92.86 million shares through 1,091 transactions, with a turnover of AED 121.85 million.
