Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance on Sunday, weighed down by the decline of transportation and investment stocks.
The main index fell 0.03% or 0.2 points to reach 3,354.52 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The transportation sector went down 0.67% after Air Arabia sank 0.7%. The investment sector also decreased 0.16% as SHUAA Capital slid 1.7%.
The real estate sector fell 0.07% due to a decline in Deyaar Development by 2.15%.
On the other hand, the banks sector topped gainers with a 0.25% rise as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up 0.58%.
The market saw trading of 16.06 million shares through 284 transactions, with a turnover of AED 21.97 million.
