Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market initiated Thursday on a higher note amid an upturn of the real estate, investment, and banking sectors.
By 10:40am Dubai time, the benchmark index gained 15.78 points, or 0.46%, to 3447.68 points.
The real estate sector led the gainers with a 0.97% rise, backed by Emaar (+1.2%) and Arabtec (+1.4%).
The investment sector moved up 0.7% as DFM stock was 1.5% higher.
Likewise, the banking sector went up by 0.04% on Amlak Finance that was 1.5% up.
Trading volume reached 29.72 million shares changing hands in 510 transactions at AED 35.85 million.
