Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, in line with the fall of real estate and banks stocks.
The main index retreated 0.25% or 8.52 points to reach 3,346.52 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The banks sector led losers after falling 0.51% as Emaar Properties slid 0.6%. The banks sector also decreased 0.24% due to a decline in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.56%.
The transportation sector topped gainers with a 0.57% rise, backed by Air Arabia which advanced 0.77%.
The market saw trading of 10.70 million shares through 186 transactions, with a turnover of AED 16.31 million.
