Dubai – Mubasher: Construction cost shed 0.05% in the third quarter of 2016, according to Dubai Statistics Center on Monday.
Construction cost index decreased to 100.82 points in Q3 compared to 101.87 points in the year-ago period.
The decline was attributed to low hiring of equipment, labour wages and other costs hiring by 0.38% from 103.46 points to 103.07 points in Q3.
Raw materials index increased to 99.32 points from 99.14 points, as a result for higher most of construction materials by 0.18%, according to the report.
