Dubai – Mubasher: The official price of Dubai crude oil to be delivered next February will be $0.15 per barrel less than the price of Oman crude oil futures contracts, according to the Department of Oil Affairs in Dubai.
The average daily settlement price of the Oman crude oil futures contracts for December delivery in the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) reached $46.73 per barrel (pb).
NYMEX US crude futures rose 0.04% to reach $48.05 per barrel (pb) by 7:10am GMT, while Brent oil futures increased 0.06% or 2 cents to reach $49.14 pb.
