Dubai-Mubasher: The emirate of Dubai is expected to welcome 14 million tourists by the end of 2015, according to the Department Of Tourism And Commerce Marketing.
Despite economic challenges in various markets, low oil prices and depreciation of main currencies against the dollar, Dubai managed to achieve a growth in the number of visitors in the first ten months of 2015.
The number of Gulf and Indian visitors arrived in Dubai increased by 20% in the same period of the current year.
Dubai is expected to see an increase of 17%-20% in the number of rooms in the coming 16 months.
The emirate’s hotels received 2.9 million visitors in the first quarter of 2015, a rise of 10% compared to the same quarter of 2014.
