Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Judicial Council chairman Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has witnessed the laying of the foundations of the AED 290 million ($79 million) Cassation Court and smart parking buildings project in Dubai, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Situated on 25,084 square metres, the project is managed by Dubai Courts along with a private entity, which will be responsible for the project’s costs, WAM added.
The new building will comprise the court’s sessions including the Appeals Court, along with the new offices for the Dubai Courts, a sports club for the judicial authority, and a smart legal library.
Construction works for the project are expected to be completed within 36 months, WAM concluded.
