Dubai – Mubasher: About 3,427 keys, hotel rooms, were added to the Dubai hotel industry from January to October 2017, according to a report released by Dubai Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing (DTCM).
Hotel apartment’s buildings in Dubai reached 195, comprising 24,260 hotel apartments, with occupancy rate of 78% in the first 10 months of the previous year, the DTCM added.
Hotel apartments accounted for 23% of the total hotel capacity in the emirate, while five-star and four-star hotels made up 33% and 24%, respectively, of the hotel capacity.
Meanwhile, three-, two-, and one-star hotels accounted for 20% of the total hotel capacity in Dubai, with 21,600 keys.
