Dubai – Mubasher: The annual inflation rate in Dubai grew to 2.1% in July 2016 as compared to the same month in 2015, according to a recent report issued by Dubai Statistics Center.
Education was up 6.74%, while the basket of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels rose 3.45%.
On the monthly basis, the inflation rate was up 0.33% in July as compared to June, dragged by the food and beverages segment which gained 1.6%.
According to the report housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels basket gained 0.22% on a monthly basis.
