Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened at a decline in Monday’s early trades, weighed by the decline of investment and banks sectors.
The DFMGI fell 0.05% or 0.58 points to reach 3,582.83 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The UAE stock markets are expected to continue seeing profit-taking on Monday, analysts earlier told Mubasher.
The investment sector retreated 0.6% as Dubai Investments declined 0.9%.
The banks sector levelled down 0.06% due to a decrease in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.8%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector added 0.9% as Emaar Properties rose 0.35%.
The telecom sector grew 0.8% after du went up 0.8%.
The market saw trading of 73 million shares through 866 transactions, with turnover of AED 65.54 million.
