Dubai mulls boosting smart malls services

Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is considering to re-design and expand its smart malls' services in five metro stations to meet the needs of consumers and their expectations of smart shopping.

The increasing number of public transport users and their satisfaction with the provided services are among the main indicators if transformation towards the smart city, CEO of the Rail Agency at the RTA Abdul Mohsin Ibrahim Younes said.

The smart mall aims at luring new users of Dubai Metro and providing them with an innovative additional service that reinforces luxury, Younes noted.

The smart mall service is currently available in five different metro stations, namely Mall of the Emirates station, Damac station, Emirates Towers station, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) station, and Dubai Internet City station.
