Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Wholesale City is launched in Dubai, with an investment of AED 30 billion, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE’s Prime Minister and also Dubai’s Ruler, said on his Twitter account on Tuesday.
Al Maktoum said the new wholesale hub is set to span over 550 million square feet, with an estimated development cost of AED 30 billion over 10 years.
The new project aims to raise UAE’s share of the global wholesale trade sector, which is valued at $4.3 trillion, Al Maktoum added.
