Dubai’s Jensen Matthews eyes massive expansion in Asia-Pacific

Dubai – Mubasher: Public relations firm Jensen Matthews has announced new acquisitions in Asia and Australia to support its expansion strategy.

The Dubai-based PR firm, which only commenced operations two years ago, has been growing in the GCC, its executive director Loredana Matei said.

“In 2017 we established two test-teams in Singapore and Hong Kong to test the market capabilities within APAC (Asia-Pacific) region and how Jensen Matthews can position its brand,” Matei, who founded the company, told Arabian Business on Tuesday.

Jensen Matthews’ expansion in the Asia-Pacific region had been originally part of the company’s five-year growth plan; however, a rise in requests for services has prompted the expansion to come in at an earlier time, she added.

Following “a growing services request from Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, South Korea and Japan, we decided to start the expansion in Q3 and Q4-18 by acquiring four small agencies, located in Australia, Singapore, Japan so we can actually blend into the culture and make sure we have a proper response to the market request,” Matei stated.

Jensen Matthews did not reveal the value of one or more of its recent acquisitions.

In addition to its expansion in these countries, Jensen Matthews is also planning to grow in the US and China, the top official concluded.
