Abu Dhabi – Decypha: Nakheel, Dubai’s master real estate developer, has contracted Al Ghurair Contracting and Engineering works to complete its second hotel at Dragon City for 136 million dirhams ($37 million), Reuters reported.
The 304-room Premier Inn hotel project is valued at 176 million dirhams, will span 178,000 square feet over eight floors.
As one of the two Nakheel hotels managed by the British hospitality brand, the project is set to be completed by 2019 and will include a restaurant, Costa coffee shop, and gym.
A mixed-use community, Nakheel’s Dragon City has over four million square feet of retail space, over 1,120 apartments, and two hotels with 516 rooms.
