Dubai – Mubasher: Nakheel on Wednesday announced that it has begun the construction of a five-kilometre cycling track at its new Nad Al Sheba community with a contract worth AED 8.6 million.
The project, set for delivery early 2020, will also include a jogging route and outdoor gyms, the Dubai-based real estate company said in a press release.
The cycle track will be side by side with the running track to surround the perimeter of the 1,500 villa community, aligning Sheik Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the property developer said.
The community will feature four- and five-bedroom homes that will be available for lease as soon as the construction work of the access road has been completed.
The project will also offer various retail and leisure facilities, including the currently under-construction Nad Al Sheba Mall and a community club with a restaurant, swimming pool, gym, and sports courts.
